Adding Mystery to Your Wedding

My love and I were discussing save-the-dates today. We realized that our save-the-dates might be a little confusing for a few people on our parent’s guest lists. They don’t have our last names on them. We don’t need our last names on them. But we came up with an even BETTER idea.

First: Once you get engaged, send out a very vague engagement announcement This is an awesome option:

So when people get this announcement they will be super intrigued and wonder…Who is getting married???

Next: Send out save-the-dates with JUST the date.

No Names. Now your guest will be thinking…I have to save this date because I have NO IDEA who is getting married. I wish I knew. This is KILLING ME! This date will definitely be saved now because I’m dying to know who is getting married!

Last: Send your invitations with just your first name.

It leaves room for intrigue while giving a teeny, tiny bit of information to guest.

You’re welcome for giving you this amazing idea. I wish my love and I had thought of it earlier.
