Wedding planning is well underway. Save-the-Dates need to go out by the end of the month and we have them printed!!
We printed off our Save-the-Dates a few weeks ago. We did them ourselves. Very proud.
They are SUPER cute. The Martha Stewart wedding team created the design. It’s amazing. All we had to do was download the design as a PDF, add our information to the card, and print it out!
We’re pretty excited that all we had to buy for the save-the-dates was a pack of flat notes/envelopes from Target. They actually came in an assortment of colors, in a pack of (I think) over 200 flat notes/envelopes for about $12. DEAL! It took us a while to figure out how to print the save-the-dates because Martha is way more ambitious than we are. She wanted us to print the save-the-dates onto an 8.5×11″ piece of cardstock and then cut the cardstock down to about 5×7. Nope. Never gonna happen.
Luckily, Nick is a computer master and finagled the PDF until it would print at the correct size without any “printer marks.”
We attempted to print the addresses on each envelope but the ink didn’t like the envelopes all that much. Or maybe the printer was too tired from printing. Either way, we’re going to have to either self-address the S-T-Ds or we’ll have to print labels.
One more item to check off the wedding to-do list!!
